Volunteer
We are always on the hunt for people to help us carry out our animal welfare work. We need volunteers to fundraise, join our committee, help administer our welfare assistance scheme, help to manage our website etc. the list is endless...

Some of the specific roles we need filling are listed below. If you are interested in helping us in this way please email us.

Branch committee member
Manages the affairs of the branch to promote and provide animal welfare within your branch.

Campaigner
Maximises the outreach of, and raise awareness for the RSPCA's National Campaigns, either as part of the RSPCA National Campaigning Network or via connection to a local Branch.

Campaign co-ordinator
Liaison with the National Society Campaigns Department on all branch and national campaigns.

Collecting box co-ordinator
Responsible for the promotion and administration of the branches collection box network.

Fosterer
To give a temporary home to cats and dogs that are ill, recovering from an accident, afraid of people, pregnant, nursing or just too young to leave to be re-homed from the animal centre.

Fundraiser
To carry out branch fundraising activities and to maintain momentum for the branch fundraising programme.

Home visitor
Visits the homes of potential adopters to ensure their suitability for an RSPCA animal and to revisit homes to ensure that the adoption has been a success.

Membership secretary
Responsible for the promotion and administration of the branches membership.

Street collection co-ordinator
Includes obtaining the necessary permits. Organising volunteers helping with the collection and counting and banking the money raised.

Welfare assistance co-ordinator
Responsible for the administration of the branch's welfare neutering and veterinary assistance voucher scheme.

You can donate a small amount each month to the branch by setting up a standing order with your bank. For more details of how to do this please email us.

You can make an online donation directly to our branch.

Put one of our fold up collecting boxes in your hallway and fill with you're and your guests spare change. If you would like one of these, please email us.

We always require any unwanted items in good condition for our many tombolas and other fundraising events. Please email us with details of the goods you would like to donate.

If you are a tax payer, by donating a small amount each month to the branch, we will be able to maximise your gift by claiming back the tax you have already paid. Currently 28p for every pound you donate.

Remember us in your will. A legacy or bequest to us can provide crucial funds - we could not carry out our work without such generous support. But please remember - all RSPCA branches are separately registered charities, so if you want your gift to help animals near you, you must ask your solicitor to make it clear in your will. Ask him or her to quote the branch name and registered charity number, for example: "I give £_________ to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Nuneaton & District Branch, charity no. 232235" By leaving a gift, you can leave it to us to carry on caring for animals in need.
